The event brought together members of the Board of Directors, management, and staff to reflect on the Society’s progress, engage in open dialogue on ethical standards, promote staff welfare, and foster a culture of appreciation and unity.
In his welcome remarks, the General Manager, Mr Joseph K. Y. Adumuah acknowledged the durbar as a landmark event in the history of GODCCOS, emphasizing its importance in nurturing a working environment built on trust, shared vision, and accountability. He commended the staff for their continued dedication and the Board for their unwavering support.
Delivering the keynote address, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Monsignor Anthony Boahen Kyereme, applauded the commitment of the staff and underscored the importance of ethical conduct, open communication, and professionalism. He assured the workforce of the Board’s commitment to addressing their concerns and enhancing overall operations.
A major highlight of the durbar was the presentation of the Institution’s progress report, detailing advancements in financial growth, credit management, digital systems, and member outreach. Management was candid about the challenges encountered and shared clear strategies to overcome them.
One of the most engaging sessions focused on the Staff Code of Ethics, a proposed framework designed to promote accountability, integrity, and respect within the organization. Staff were given the opportunity to contribute ideas, raising the collective ownership of the values that guide the institution.
The durbar also provided a platform to openly discuss staff welfare. Concerns such as workload distribution, logistical support, professional development, and incentives were raised. The Board responded with encouraging feedback and a renewed pledge to address key welfare matters through a structured and participatory approach.

This inaugural durbar not only marked a milestone in the internal affairs of GODCCOS but also reflected the Institution’s deep commitment to growth, transparency, and the dignity of work rooted in Catholic social values. It sets a promising tone for future engagements between leadership and staff in the spirit of cooperation and service.
